HACCP (Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points) is a tool that implements internationally recognised risk control
mechanisms for food safety, designed by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and World Health Organization (WHO).
The GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) apply specifically to the manufacture of these products, but many of their
recommendations apply to logistical centres, warehouses and carriers.
